About Us
Career progression has been the genuine concern of Iran's series of development programs so far. Pursuing and fulfilling the overall aims require overcoming hurdles and facilitating active economic cooperating for both men and women. Meanwhile, what women need to play as an active role in economy can be discussed in two aspects.
One refers to structural aspect that means the significant role of the state and other legislative institutions such as the parliament in providing legal circumstances to facilitate women employment as well as improving business atmosphere. The other one refers to cultural issues especially the concepts and believes of both families and societies towards women.
In this regard, Khorasan Razavi Businesswomen Association has been founded as an affiliated NGO since 2015. It has aimed at expanding women's presence in the economic and social fields. During the activities of several board of di rectors, the association has constantly focused on creating and improving condition for helping provincial women.
With regards to remaining faithful to all endeavors of the previous managers, the current board of directors has aimed at providing women's presence in numerous economic and social fields at national and international levels. The association principal aims are supporting small-scaled enterprises, youth entrepreneurship and startups.

Disregarding women means not utilizing all manufacturing, economic, trading, servicing and technical capacities of society that have impact on the economic and production growth of the country. Various activities such as organising and empowering women to explore business activities, creating favorable business environment, developing and promoting women entrepreneurship, pursuing to remove the current obstacles, supporting and encouraging women in leading affairs and leading their activities according to country's economic development resulted in forming the association."

The long-term goal of the association is to encourage the active women in economic affairs to gain position in the Chamber of Commerce and demonstrate their capabilities complying with the economic development of the country and strive for chamber's goals by various expert groups. In this regard, they can play significant role in empowerment and improvement in the status of women in economic, industrial and trading affairs.

Core Achievements
KHBWA has performed various activities with the help of its active members.
What it has brought forth can be summarized as:
1. Increase the number of members from sound bases for the participation of women in economic fields.
2. Establish effective collaboration with executive women managers in public organizations and governmental bodies.
3. Arrange many interviews with members in collaboration with online press and provincial newspapers.
Create free product and service advertisements for members.
4. Signing bilateral contracts with businesswomen NGOs in the neighboring countries to facilitate trade for both members.
5. Performing various virtual talks with members and distinguished guests, presenting themselves and their contributions to women’s society.
6. Holding virtual webinars, training programs, and one-on-one meetings with technical advisors.
7. Ameliorate communication among members to share knowledge, proficiency, and resources through channels and groups on social networks.
8. Run industrial site visits and tours to become familiar with the processes and production. Engage in collaborative thinking with the manufacturers.
9. Act as Associate Program Manager for home-based women entrepreneurs. Help them improve their working conditions.
10. Run a virtual booth on social media and create content for situational events in collaboration with the Women and Family Office of the Provincial Government.
11. Arrange formal meetings with key governmental figures in the province and the country to present the Association, exchange views, and convey the problems and challenges of women in the business environment to them.
12. Hold reunion events. Invite members to attend recreational and business events. Organize and attend physical exhibitions.
